Z-Rack – No Roof Holes

Hybrid System

SolarPod Residential in Illinois!

SolarPod has been in Minnesota for 13 years and are now EXPANDING its revolutionized, residential solar, to Illinois residents!

  • Traditional residential solar systems place 6 to 8 holes per kW. Our competition will refer to holes as attachments. They are holes because they penetrate every roof material including the weatherproofing that the roof should have. Therefore, if you are installing a 6 kW system you may have anywhere from 36 to 48 holes. Higher snow regions have more roof holes.
  • Our revolutionary product Z-Rack eliminates the need for the holes in the roof, and renders you a safe, sound system without water leaks or roof structure damage.
  • Z-Rack is a differentiator product in the solar market. We are the only company that can place rooftop solar on shingle, metal, tile, wood or any other material without piercing the roof and reducing roof integrity. All our competition will say “we have been installing solar for decades and have zero water leaks or roof damage”. While that may be true, why drill roof holes when you don’t have to? There is no cost difference between the two and you don’t want to be the one with a roof leak due to excessive roof holes drilled for your solar energy system.
  • Furthermore, when you have to replace your roof due to normal wear and tear, in the traditional residential solar system you will have twice the number of holes as opposed to no holes at all.
  • We have been installing solar since 2009 and we have the experience, knowledge, skill, talent and most importantly service before self attitude that ensures professional outcomes on each of our installations.

We are proud to partner with Solar Pod to bring the Z-Rack to Illinois!

Illinois is a growing solar market that has benefited from a strong renewable portfolio standard that requires they generate 25% of their energy from renewable sources by 2025. The amount of solar capacity installed in Illinois is expected to grow by more than 1,700% over the next five years. Xolar is your go-to solar company in Illinois.
